Welcome…

I chose the name [prit-ee pey-per] because of my love for paper, that is neatly bound together, with the most beautiful words carefully written on them.  Even more simply…because I love books. 

Books transport me… While reading, I have a tendency to research additional information about a particular character, event, custom, word, or belief that stands out and grabs my attention.  (Which I find interesting since I mainly read historical fiction novels.)  Unfortunately for my fiancé, he has been the one forced to listen to my ramblings.  So…I have decided to compile the information I research and share it with others to ease his pain (a little.)

My goal is to blog about the book that I’m reading by highlighting anything that I may find interesting as I’m reading it.  You may also find links to articles where the author shares his or her inspiration or links to another blogger’s review.  There may be times when I actually review a book, although those posts will be pretty rare.

I like to have fun so don’t expect this blog to be completely scholarly (at all.)  But…I hope you enjoy and perhaps even learn something new…  J
